Irene R. Steiner, 93, of Whitehall, died Sept. 3, 2016, at Whitehall Manor. She was the wife of the late William E. Steiner for 57 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Rose (Bienthes) Plusar.

She was a leasing agent for Helfrich Springs Apartments for 20 years until she retired. She previously worked as a saleswoman at Hess’s.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church.

She was a past vice president of the former Women of St. Elizabeth organization.

She is survived by a son, William Jr. of Catasauqua; a daughter, Judith R. and her husband Ronald Moser of Allentown; two grandchildren, Tiffany and her husband Brian Gilbert and Tyson and his wife Jill Moser; three great-grandsons, Zachary and Luke Gilbert and Tyson Moser Jr.; a sister, Rose Marie Lang of Macungie; and nieces, nephews and their families.

She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Shawn and her husband Paul Zdancewicz; three sisters, Helen Uherchik, Florence Lukow and Mary Cerulli; and a brother, Frank Plusar.

There will be a viewing 9-9:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m., both Sept. 9 at the church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall, 18052.
