LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Meghan Trainor

Meghan Trainor makes her Lehigh Valley concert debut, 7 p.m. Sept. 3, Fairgrounds Grandstand, at the Great Allentown Fair. Trainor was to perform at the 2015 Fair, but canceled the last three weeks of her tour because of vocal cord problems that required surgery. Trainor released her second album, “Thank You,” May 13, with the lead single “No,” charting at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. The Nantucket, Mass., native wrote, recorded, performed and produced three independently-released albums between ages 15 and 17. After signing with Epic Records in 2014, Trainor released “Title” in 2015, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with three Top 20 singles, “Lips Are Movin,’” “Dear Future Husband” and “Like I’m Gonna Lose You,” and her smash hit, “All About That Bass,” which spent eight weeks at No. 1. Opening the show is Hailee Steinfeld and Common Kings.
