The Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., Catasauqua, is having a bag sale Aug. 29 through Sept. 3 on everything in the store, unless marked otherwise. Donations of good used clean clothing are gratefully accepted during store operation hours 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Proceeds from the thrift shop are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.

Crafters, food and flea market vendors, community organizations and businesses are being sought for the betterment committee’s 10th annual Best of North Catasauqua Autumnfest and car show, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 9 at the North Catasauqua William J. Albert Memorial Park, 701 Grove St.

Individuals, families, organizations or businesses can sponsor a holiday snowflake that adorns the streets of North Catasauqua during the holidays. A plastic plaque will be attached to the snowflake with the name of the sponsor.
