Elsie E. Sentiwany, 87, of Whitehall, died Aug. 20, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. She was the wife of the late John J. Sentiwany for 45 years.

Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Theresa (Ressler) Deichmeister.

She worked at Modern Slack Company.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Egypt.

She was a member of the former Whitehall Exchangettes and Whitehall Senior Citizens.

She is survived by two daughters, Kathy and her husband Joel Pattishall of Whitehall and Joan Piotrowski of North Whitehall Township; two sons, John and his fiance Debra Kortvely of Coplay and David and his wife Karen (Gross) of Whitehall; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by four brothers, Frank, John, Fred and Danny; and an infant sister.
