Mildred “Millie” M. Bankos, 94, of Fullerton, died Aug. 14, 2016, at home. She was the wife of the late Michael S. Bankos for 69 years.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Franklin and Mazie (Diefenderfer) Deifer.
She was a graduate of Whitehall High School, Allentown School of Cosmetology and Robert Fiance School of Hair Styling of New York.
She and her late husband owned Michael’s Beauty and Barber Shop at their home for 60 years.
She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton.
She was a member of the Bethlehem chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Fullerton Fire Company No. 1 and Fullerton American Legion Post 367 auxiliaries.
She is survived by cousins; nieces; nephews; and their families.
There will be a calling hour 10 a.m. Aug. 18, followed by a service 11 a.m., both at the funeral home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall, 18052.
