Joseph H. Keeler Jr., 71, of Whitehall, died Aug. 11, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Allentown. He was the husband of Bonnie L. (Unangst) Keeler for 48 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Joseph Sr. and the late Eleanor (McElroy) Keeler.
He was an SP4 in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war.
He was a truck driver for Carolina Freight Company, Kutztown, for 36 years until he retired in 1995.
He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 773, for which he was a former shop steward member, and of Local 429. He was a member of the N.R.A. and was an outdoorsman.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Scott J. of Whitehall and Steven M. of Walnutport; two brothers, Gary and his wife Shirley of Walnutport and Randy and his wife Danielle of Allentown; and a grandson, Tyler Joseph.
He was predeceased by a brother, Larry Keeler; and two sisters, Joanne Koehler and Gail Marquis.
