Joseph E. Myirski Jr., 64, of Northampton, died Aug. 9, 2016, at his home. He was the husband of Monica R. (Miklos) Myirski for 41 years.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of Joseph E. Myirski Sr. of Bath and the late Mary A. (Nemith) Myirski.

He was a Northampton High School graduate.

He was a warehouse lift operator for the past 25 years and was a former shop steward at Nestle/Purina Pet Care, Allentown.

He was a member of Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Northampton.

He was, in his earlier years, a firefighter for the Bath Volunteer Fire Company. He was a Little League baseball coach for the former Our Lady of Hungary Church and School. He was a member of the Boilermakers Union Local when he worked at Bonney Forge.

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by three sons, Eric J. and Jason J., both of Northampton, and Kevin M. and his wife Chentille of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, Michael M. and his wife Pamela Myirski of Fallston, Md., and John J. and his wife Lori Myirski of Nazareth; a granddaughter, Harper Grace Myirski; four nieces, Rachel and her husband David Herr and Sara, Keri and Tori Myirski; and a nephew, Nathan.
