Elizabeth “Betty” Rose (Yevcak) Brusko, 77, of Coplay, died Aug. 5, 2016, at Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the wife of Robert J. Brusko Sr. for 55 years.

Born in Lansford, she was the daughter of the late John P. Sr. and Anna (Kamenicky) Yevcak.

She was a graduate of the former Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing.

She worked as a registered nurse at several Lehigh Valley hospitals. She retired from Visiting Nurses Association of Lehigh County after 20 years.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Susan M. of Coplay, Robert J. Jr. and his wife Adrianne of Emmaus, Judith A. and her husband Mark Reed of Allentown and Cynthia A. and her husband Judd Lilly of Breinigsville; two brothers, John P. Jr. and his wife Maryann Yevcak of Peachtree City, Ga. and Paul and his wife Barbara Yevcak of Richmond, Ind.; and eight grandchildren, Ryan, Alexander, Morgan, Mackenzie, Tayler, Nicholas, Elizabeth and Matthew.

She was predeceased by three sisters, Marge Karnish, Helen Halulko and Anne Meredith.
