Baseline ImPACT testing will be held 5:15 p.m. Aug. 15 for all fall sport athletes (JV, varsity football, field hockey, cross country, soccer, golf, tennis, cheerleading). A baseline ImPACT test is a requirement in order to participate in athletics. Students needing this testing include any new middle school and high school athletes (if you have never played a Salisbury sport), all seventh, eighth and ninth graders (a new test is required each year) and any high school athlete who has not taken a new baseline test within the last two years (typically, 11th graders). Student athletes need a new baseline test every year at the middle school and every two years at the high school level.
ImPACT testing will take place at the high school computer lab in Room 005 and lasts approximately 30 minutes. Student athletes are not permitted to start practice in the fall until they have a current baseline test. If you have any questions, or cannot make these dates or times, email Brynn Mahoney at bmahoney@salisburysd.org or Julie Nunn at jnunn@salisburysd.org.
