Norman H. Remaly
Norman H. Remaly, 63, of Catasauqua, died Aug. 1, 2016. He was the husband of Donna (Angstadt) Remaly for 41 years.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Ralph and Edna (Crouthamel) Remaly.
He was a Whitehall High School and Williamsport Area Community College graduate.
He worked for 41 years at Horwith Trucking, Northampton.
He was a member of Cedar United Church of Christ, Cetronia. He was a deacon, elder and treasurer and was on the consistory at St. James United Church of Christ for many years.
He was on the occupational advisory council for the diesel medium heavy truck technology program at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute and was a proctor for testing.
He was an honorary lifetime volunteer of Cetronia Ambulance Corps for 35 years, where he had been a president, captain and volunteer supervisor and was on many committees.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Arlan and his wife Gale of Sinking Spring; a nephew and godson, Chad and his wife Sabrina Remaly; a niece and goddaughter, Rebecca Laub Morgan and her husband Michael Morgan; a great-nephew, Eric Remaly; and a great-niece and goddaughter, Chloe Lynn Holly Remaly.
He was predeceased by a stepmother, Dorothy Remaly.
There will be a calling hour 6-7:30 p.m. Aug. 4 and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Aug. 5, followed by a service 10:30 a.m., all at the funeral home, 1625 W. Highland St., Allentown, 18102.
