Helen A. Swankoski, 99, of Northampton, died July 22, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of the late Alexander S. Swankoski.

Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Antoni and Anna (Brezowska) Guzara.

She was a lifelong member of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Northampton, and was currently a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Northampton.

She is survived by a son, John A. and Jayne Seier of Allen Township; four daughters, Ann and her husband Richard Donaldson of San Diego, Calif., Carol and her husband Frank Steier of Treichlers, Mary Susan and her husband Bernard Gabryluk of Bath and Eileen and her husband Robert Stein of Chambersburg; a daughter-in-law Barbara Swankoski of N.J.; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Christoff of Whitehall; and a brother, Alfred Guzara of Northampton.

She was predeceased by a son, David J.
