Bruce W. Deppe, 87, of Walnutport, died July 29, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He was the husband of the late Marion Shoemaker, the late Esther Youse and the late Freda Scalzitti.

Born in Walnutport, he was the son of the late Burton and Ella (Becker) Deppe.

He was in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany during the Korean War.

He was a carpenter and general contractor in eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey for 45 years before retiring.

He was a member of Valley View Baptist Church, Northampton.

He is survived by five sons, David and his wife Theresa, Dean and his wife Cindy, Douglas, Duane and Darryl and his wife Joan; three daughters, Dawn and her husband Eugene Wainwright, Danielle and her husband Fred Snyder and Denise and her husband Steven Yu; a step-son, Kevin and his wife Kathy Youse; a step-daughter, Karen and her husband Robert Ueltzen; two step-sons, Charles Sonntag and Louis and his wife Eva Scalzitti; three step-daughters, Sherie and her husband Rob Scalzitti, Priscilla and her husband Rick Vargas and Janet Scalzitti; 12 grandchildren; 18 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 16 step great-grandchildren; and one step great-great-grandchild.

He was predeceased by a sister, Ethel Arnold; and two brothers, Vance and Raymond.
