Margaret E. Anderson, 73, of Whitehall Manor and formerly of the Poconos, died July 13, 2016, in her residence. She was the wife of Charles M. Anderson of Whitehall Manor for 53 years.

Born in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Shirley (Shook) Kimball.

She earned an LPN from Presbyterian University Hospital, a BSN from Misericordia and a Master of Public Health Education from East Stroudsburg.

She was a nurse for East Stroudsburg Hospital and Pocono Mountain School District before she retired.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Stephen and his wife Sherri Anderson; a daughter, Karen L. and her husband Craig Croteau; three grandchildren, Charles Anderson, Collette Croteau and Julia Croteau; and many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters.
