Grace E. Mealey, 89, of Whitehall, died July 15, 2016. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Ruth M. (Knittle) Mealey.
She was a member of St. Matthew’s Evangelical Congregational Church, Emmaus and recently had been active in the Fellowship Community music programs and worship services.
She was an active member of the American Guild of Organists, Music Teachers Association and the National Guild of Piano Teachers. She was a church organist for over 65 years and taught piano and organ to over 1,000 pupils.
She is survived by a brother, Terry and his wife Gail; sister, Kathleen Boyle; nieces and nephews, Gary Bastian, Tammy McBride, Kimberly Boyle, Terry Boyle; great nieces and nephews, Justin and Jason McBride and Colin and Caitlin Boyle; dear friend and caretaker Ruth Guldner. She was predeceased by sisters, Louise and Jeanette.
Contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Services will be held 2 p.m. July 20 at Zentz Community Center, 3020 Fellowship Drive, Whitehall, 18052. Calling 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 20 in the Zentz Community Center.
Arrangements were made by the Trexler Funeral Home, Allentown.
