‘Where’s Waldo’ and the return of Harry Potter at Moravian Book Shop, Bethlehem
Waldo, book-signings and the return of Harry Potter are on tap for July at the Moravian Book Shop, Bethlehem.
Where’s Waldo?
In downtown Bethlehem, of course.
The famous children’s book character in the striped shirt and black-rimmed specs will be hiding in 25 city businesses in July.
“Where’s Waldo” is the creation of Martin Handford, whose entertaining drawings of crowd scenes swept the world in the late 1980s.
In celebration of Waldo’s longevity and popularity, his American publisher, Candlewick Press, is teaming up with the American Booksellers Association and 250 independent bookstores in the United States, including Moravian Book Shop, for some scavenger-hunt fun.
Visit Moravian Book Shop in July for a passport to show you where Waldo is hiding. Visit 25 businesses in the Historic District of Downtown Bethlehem. Find 10 Waldos and stop back at Moravian Book Shop for a reward.
There will be a Waldo party Aug. 3 when winners will be announced.
“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” Midnight Release Party will be held 10 p.m.-midnight July 30. Welcome back Harry with food, games, contests and activities.
