Carolyn R. (Brown) Eberhart Merryman, 67, of Whitehall, died July 3, 2016, in St. Luke’s Hospital-Allentown.
She was the wife of William “Bill” R. Merryman Jr. for 27 years.
Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late E. Harold and Ruth (Brunner) Brown.
She was a 1966 graduate of Liberty High School and a 1969 graduate of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital School of Nursing.
She worked at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, New York City; St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem; Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest; and for Sacred Heart Visiting Nurses. She was a substitute school nurse in the Whitehall-Coplay School District.
She was the visitation minister of Calvary Moravian Church, Allentown, where she also sang in the choir.
She was a Reach to Recovery volunteer for 17 years and a Weight Watchers instructor for five years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Marc; a daughter, Heather; friends; and extended family.
There will be a calling time 9:30 a.m., followed by a service 11 a.m., both July 9 at Calvary Moravian Church, 948 N. 21st St., Allentown, 18104.
