Synthya Anne Davies, 60, of Macungie, died June 23, 2016, at home. Born in Washington, D.C., she was a daughter of Ella (White) Bohn and the late Raymond Sine and stepdaughter of the late Paul R. Jackson.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree in human resources.

She served for 12 years active duty in the U.S. Army and 20 years active duty in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, retiring in 2012 as sergeant first class.

She loved flowers, music and traveling throughout the United States and abroad.

She is survived by her mother; sons, William Brown, Jr. and Steven; daughter, Kristina and her husband Jeffrey Livinghouse; brothers, Lee Sine and his wife Dianne; Lyle Sine and his wife Fran; sister, Janet and her husband Phillip Koch; two grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to PA Wounded Warrior, Inc., 1117 Country Club Road, Camp Hill, 17011 or Penn State Health, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Neurosurgery Research, 500 University Drive, Hershey, 17033.

A memorial service will be held 6:30 p.m. June 30 at Jordan U.C.C., 1837 Church Road, Allentown. Visitation will begin 5 p.m. in the church. The Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville, is in charge of arrangements.
