Ruth J. (Johnson) Beier, 96, died June 20, 2016, at Fellowship Community, Whitehall. She was the wife of the late William C. Beier.

Born in Tulsa, Okla., she was a daughter of the late Charles and Nora (Morris) Johnson.

She was a volunteer for several organizations.

She is survived by two daughters, Deborah and her husband Kyle DeWalt of Whitehall and Barbara of Boise, Idaho; two sons, Thomas and his wife Nardi Beier of Stockton, N.J. and John and his wife Marilyn Cornell of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harvey and his wife Dee Johnson of Clifton Park, N.Y.
