Jean N. Heffelfinger, 95, of Whitehall, died June 23, 2016, at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. She was the wife of the late Robert “Heffy” Heffelfinger for 56 years.

Born in Fullerton, she was a daughter of the late Charles and the late Maud (Petrey) Snyder.

She worked in the Whitehall High School cafeteria for over 20 years and was a bookkeeper and clerk.

She was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall, and was previously a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton, where she was baptized, confirmed, married and served as a deacon.

She was a member of many social, civic and senior citizen organizations.

She is survived by a son, Dale; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Randy; a sister; and three brothers.
