Charles A. Souders, 80, of Cedarbrook County Home and formerly of Allentown, died June 17, 2016, at Cedarbrook. He was the husband of Marlene (Erb) Souders for 58 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Charles and Mildred (Snell) Souders.

He was a sales manager for Bennett Toyota until he retired in 2007 after 40 years. He then worked part time for Rothrock Auto Sales.

He was a member of Greenawalds United Church of Christ.

He was a lifetime member of Hogans, Fearless Fire Company, Woodlawn Fire Company, American Legion 576, Jordan A.C. and Cross Keys.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Charles A. Jr. of Allentown; a daughter, Carol Smith; two brothers, Barry and his wife Maryjo Souders of Allentown and Robert Souders of Lansford; a sister, Sandra and her husband Doug Moser of Lehighton; a grandson, Zachary; a half sister, Virginia Beck; a brother-in-law, Frank Fisher; and a sister-in-law, Darlene Souders.

He was predeceased by a sister, LaVaun Fisher; and a brother, Marvin “Mike” Souders.
