Robert “Bobby” J. Miller, 71, of Whitehall, died June 7, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Inpatient Hospice, Allentown.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Granville H. and Irene J. (Kohler) Miller-Pagotto.

He worked in the sanitation department and was on the road crew for Whitehall Township for 42 years until he retired in 2008.

He was a volunteer firefighter for the Laurel Fire Company, Egypt, for 50 years.

He was a member of Egypt Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7293.

He volunteered for many years at the Cementon fair.

He is survived by two brothers, Charles G. and his friend Timothy A. Gregory of Danielsville and Dale K. and his wife Barbara Miller of Northampton; a stepbrother, Terry L. and his wife Alice Pagotto of Moore Township; an uncle, Stephen J. Jr. and his wife Dorothy Kohler of Easton; companion, Annette M. Rothrock; nieces; and nephews.
