Richard A. “Pappy” Hunsicker, 81, of Emmaus, died in his home June 12, 2016. He was the husband of Phyllis M. (Schuck) Hunsicker. Born in Orefield, he was the son of the late Elmer and Esther (Guth) Hunsicker.

He was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, Allentown.

He was a driver and salesman for Maier’s Bakery for many years and delivered newspapers for The Morning Call and the East Penn Press.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Terry Ann Natysyn and Sue Ellen; sons, Richard, Jr. and Jeffrey; sister, Marian Wessner; grandchildren, Chad Hentzel, Jason Fritz, Megan, Jordan, Logan, Derran, Michael, Christopher and Mackenzie; five great-grandchildren.

Contributions may be made to the family to help defray expenses or to the American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Place, Bethlehem, 18017.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. June 20 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. June 20 in the funeral home.
