Marie A. (Long) Moyer, 90, of Alburtis, died June 1, 2016, in St. Luke’s Hospice, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late James G. Moyer, who died Feb. 13, 2001. Born in Alburtis, she was a daughter of the late Morris C. and M. Elsie (Wetzel) Long.
She was a longtime member of Church of the Good Shepherd U.C.C., Alburtis, where she was a part of the church crafters, annual bazaar and outreach committee.
She was a 1944 graduate of Emmaus High School and a homemaker.
She was an avid reader who enjoyed crocheting, sewing and playing the organ.
She was a former Camp Fire Girl leader and a member of the Secret Pal group in Alburtis.
She is survived by four daughters, Judy A. and her husband Lin S. Schleicher, of Albrightsville, Kathy J. and her husband Roy W. Seaman, of Zionsville, Jo Y. and her husband Charles R. Bednar, of Alburtis and Jane E. and her husband Charles R. Messick, of Alburtis; sister, Doris J. and her husband Kenneth C. Dornblaser, of Alburtis; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Hope L. Long in 2015; brothers, Bern M. in 2001 and Laverne Long in childhood; one granddaughter, Quinna M. Schleicher in 1989.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. June 17 in Church of the Good Shepherd U.C.C., 135 Quarry Road, Alburtis. Relatives and friends may call 10:30 to 11 a.m. June 17 in the church. Arrangements were made by the Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., Topton.
