John Mulits, 82, of Whitehall, died June 10, 2016, at home. He was the husband of Anna (Petz) Mulits for 62 years.

Born in Strem, Austria, he was the son of the late Frank and Rosina (Gober) Mulits.

He worked in maintenance for PNC Bank, Northampton, until he retired.

He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

He was a member of Coplay Saengerbund.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Linda and her husband Ben Poccia Jr. of Whitehall; a grandson, Justin T. Poccia; and a brother, Eduard and his wife Johanna of Austria.

He was predeceased by an infant daughter, Marianna; and three brothers, Stephan, Frank and Rudolph.
