Dorothea E. Grammes, 95, of Breinigsville, died June 8, 2016, at home with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Charles J. Grammes. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Ralph E. and Adeline Sarah (Smith) Moyer.

Before retiring in the early 1980s, she worked as a sewing machine operator at the Emmaus Pajama Factory and Lehigh Valley Shirt.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Breinigsville.

Formerly, she was a member of the ladies auxiliary at the Good Will Fire Co., Trexlertown, the Emmaus and Trexlertown senior citizens groups and enjoyed bowling with various leagues.

She is survived by a daughter, Diane P., at home; nieces and nephews.
