Reported by a resident in the 6800 block of Hunt Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors removed a Garmin GPS valued at $119 from the resident’s unlocked vehicle 1 a.m. May 7.

DUI

Cristopher Guzman, 27, of New York, was taken into custody and charged with allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop on U.S. Route 222 southbound at Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:29 a.m. May 9. Guzman allegedly refused a chemical blood test. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-02.

Robert Jonathan Reese, 33, of Macungie, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Antique Lane at Willow Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 7:37 p.m. May 8. Charges were filed through District Court 31-2-03.

Nicole Ann Stauffer, 39, of Macungie, was charged with allegedly failing to secure her dog after the animal ran out of Stauffer’s residence and into the Watermill recreation area, Watermill Road, Lower Macungie Township. Stauffer’s dog allegedly injured another dog 10:38 a.m. May 8. According to police, Stauffer’s dog attacked the neck area of the other dog and caused severe bleeding. The injured dog was transported for treatment to an emergency veterinary clinic in Whitehall. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-02.

Reported by Giant food store, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, an unknown male concealed merchandise valued at $283 and left the store without paying for the items 3:54 p.m. Feb. 7.

Reported by Sally Beauty Supply, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown actor removed an item valued at $99.99 2:43 p.m. April 27. Anyone with information about this incident may contact Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville at 610-395-1438.

Laura May Propsner, 33, of Alburtis, was charged with retail theft after allegedly removing merchandise totaling $191.02 from Giant food store, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township. Propsner allegedly took the items on four separate occasions between Jan. 18 and Jan. 28. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-02.

A 31-year-old female, of Allentown, was taken into custody by store personnel at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1 p.m. April 24 after she placed various items in a shopping cart and did not pay for the items. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-02.

Scattering rubbish

Reported by a resident in the 8000 block of School House Lane, Lower Milford Township, unknown actors tossed a bag of medical syringes from a vehicle and onto the resident’s property 3:30 p.m. April 23.

Lyman Davis, 30, of Allentown and Christal Yeager, 23, of Macungie, were charged with alleged criminal trespass after they were found parked illegally on private property at 7448 Industrial Park Way, Lower Macungie Township, 3:33 a.m. April 28. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-02.

Kevin Demetris Cochran, 50, of Emmaus, was charged with allegedly violating a protection from abuse order in the 4700 block of Vera Cruz Road, Upper Milford Township, 6:40 p.m. May 6. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-03.

Reported by a resident in the 5300 block of Prophets Way, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actor punctured two vehicle tires overnight April 23.

Reported in the 8300 block of Buhman Road, Lower Milford Township, unknown actors used an unknown item to damage a speed limit sign between April 1 and April 30.
