Morris J. Laslo, Sr., 78, of Salisbury Township died May 22, 2016, at his residence. He was the husband of Amelia J. (Laurido) Laslo for 56 years. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Geza and Viola (Berger) Laslo.
He worked for Laneco and various stores as a meat cutter 29 years, retiring in 1997. Previously, he worked at the former Table Supply, Allentown, for nine years.
He served his country honorably during peacetime in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a member of the Salisbury Volunteer Fire Company, Monacacy Fish and Game and the VFW 2124, South Allentown.
He was an avid outdoorsman. He devoted his life to his beloved granddaughters.
He is survived by his wife; son, Morris J. Jr., of Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, Calif.; daughter, Juanita L. and her husband Mark Peters, of Upper Macungie Township; brothers, Geza Jr. and his wife Charlotte, of Allentown and John, of Palm Springs, Calif.; sisters, Dolores Bednar, of Forks Township, Janet and her husband John Ortwein, of Allentown, Lucille and her husband William Reichel, of Krumsville and Elaine Johnson, of Lewes, Del.; granddaughters, Sydney, Rachel Amelia and Tiana Peters; great-grandson, Javian. He was predeceased by brothers, Julius, Allen and a sister Shirley.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksville.
