The newly formed Emmaus Recreation and Entertainment Commission will host its annual Kickoff to Summer Community Day, noon to 8 p.m. at Emmaus Community Park. The event is free to the public and will feature food, community organizations, crafts, athletic events, music, a children’s activity area and demonstrations. Seed Farm, 5854 Vera Cruz Road, Emmaus, second annual plant sale 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Attendees will be able to choose from a wide variety of non-GMO vegetables, herbs and specialty cut flowers grown by new farmer training program participants and staff. The Emmaus takedown club will hold its annual fundraising car wash at the Emmaus Burgery, 1458 Chestnut St. 9 a.m. to noon. The cost per car goes to fund the Emmaus wrestling program. Come out and support the team.
