Thomas B. Minar, 69, of Coplay, died May 28, 2016, at home. He was the husband of Connie D. (Schaff) Minar for 28 years and of the late Sharyn (Boyer) Minar.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Alois and Mary (Corvino) Minar.

He was a 1964 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School.

He was an electrician at Mack Trucks for 43 years until he retired in 2013.

He was both an executive board and consumer affairs committee member with UAW Local 677. While working in Macungie, he was part of the MERT team.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Antoinette and her husband Forrest Farr Jr. and Lisa and her husband Nigel Wright; a son, Eric and Kelly Yankowy; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Steven, Ian, Austin, Jesse, Luke and Liliana; and a sister-in-law, Gail Minar.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Jessica; and an infant grandson, Brock.
