St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, 8142 Valley View Road, Seemsville, will hold a chicken barbecue dinner June 11. There are two seatings available: 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
The menu includes a half-chicken or a quarter-chicken; baked potato; dinner roll; pickled cabbage salad or applesauce; and dessert.

Reminder: Zion Stone United Church of Christ will host a penny party June 3 in the social hall of the church, 51 Church Road, Kreidersville.
Doors open 5 p.m., and the penny party starts 6 p.m.
