The William F. Greenawald Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a student who is enrolled in a two- or four-year institution of higher learning and has exhibited at least one competitive entry at the Great Allentown Fair.

The $1,000 scholarship will be awarded Aug. 31 at the Ag Awards Program in the Agri-Plex building during the 2016 Great Allentown Fair.

A two-part application is required to be completed. Application deadline is Aug. 14.

William F. Greenawald was an ardent supporter of the Allentown Fair, serving on the Board, Executive Committee, as Secretary, Vice-President and was President at the time of his death.

The scholarship was established last year by his wife Patricia and their three children.
