Henry E. Grammes Jr., 77, of Hellertown, died May 22, 2016, at his residence.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Harry E. Grammes Sr. and the late Minne (Smith) Bilheimer-Grammes.

He was a manager in the coke works division at Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 41 years until he retired in 1994.

He was a member of Emmanuel’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bath.

He is survived by a sister, Hilda Phillips of Berwick; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews.

He was predeceased by seven sisters, Elizabeth, Anna, Mary, Dorothy, Quilla, Esther and Edith; and five brothers, Kenneth, Dallas, Robert, William and Arthur.

There will be a calling hour from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., May 26 at the church, 3175 Valley View Drive, Bath, 18014.
