Arturo Plana, 63, of Emmaus, died May 20, 2016, after a long illness at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. Born in Madrid, Spain, he was the son of the late Alejandro Plana and Gregoria Diaz.

He was a research chemist until retiring.

He is survived by daughters, Nicole and her fiance Juanjo Feijoo and Cristina and her husband Jason Toff; sister, Elena; grandson, Noam Toff; nieces and nephews.

Contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. May 25 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A family visitation will be held 10 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
