Julia Nush, 88, formerly of Whitehall, died May 14, 2016, at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Peter Nush.

Born in North Whitehall Township, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine (Hrynak) Simock.

She was a sewing machine operator for the former Cross Country Clothes, Egypt.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton.

She is survived by a son, Peter G. and his wife Bernadette of Northampton; two daughters, Barbara of Allentown and Annette and her husband Kenneth Longley of Nazareth; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
