Helen M. Kupar, 87, formerly of Whitehall, died May 11, 2016, at Moravian Village, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late John Kupar.

Born in Coplay, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Stella (Bauer) Eberhardt.

She was a sewing machine operator for the former Cross Country Clothes in Egypt and Northampton.

She was a member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, Allentown.

She was a volunteer pierogy maker at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Egypt.

She is survived by three sons, John M. and his wife Joni of Elburn, Ill., Daniel F. of Whitehall and Gregory M. and his wife Crystal of Mertztown; two granddaughters, Alison and Elizabeth; and two sisters, Stella Eberhardt of Cherryville and Mary Ann Wukovitz of East Allen Township.

She was predeceased by a son, Michael; and two brothers, Frank and Hugo Eberhardt.
