30th annual Mayfair back at Allentown Fairgrounds

Mayfair Festival of the Arts returns Memorial Day weekend, May 27-30, to the Allentown Fairgrounds, 1950 Liberty St., Allentown.

The festival offers an array of the arts that has brought the community of Allentown and the Lehigh Valley together for 30 years.

“The thing that’s really awesome about Mayfair Festival of the Arts is that it is the one place in the Lehigh Valley where you can experience all art forms at once, in one weekend,” says Arlene E. Daily, Mayfair Executive Director.

“It includes everything from very fine art in an art-gallery experience, to a very large number of visual artists that you can buy from. You can enjoy music with your family all day long. Plus, there is the huge kids’ section. So, it really is a family affair,” said Daily.

The Artists Market, 4 - 8 p.m. May 27, noon - 8 p.m. May 28 and 29, and noon - 6 p.m. May 30, features fine art, photography, fashion, paintings, sculpture, drawings, fabric arts, metal arts, woodsmithing, ceramics, artisanal food including honey and wine, and natural healthcare items.
