Ruth A. Christman, 84, of Fullerton, died May 5, 2016, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Robert C. Christman Jr. for 54 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Wallace E. Sr. and Ida V. (Angstadt) Reinert.

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton, where she was a Sunday school teacher, deacon and an elder for many years. She was a former choir member and a chairlady of the altar guild, which she helped establish.

She was a former den mother for Cub Pack 63.

She is survived by five sons, Robert Jr. of Slatington, Gary and his wife Tina of Berlinsville, Tim and his wife Karen of Whitehall, Christopher of Coplay and Ronald and his wife Tammy of Whitehall; nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Christman of Allentown.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Mark Robert Christman; and five siblings.
