Rosalind A. (Smith) Geist, 65, of Northampton and formerly of Allentown, died May 6, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Franklin E. Geist for 40 years.

Born in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late Robert G. Jr. and Maryann (Shuey) Smith.

She was a supervisor for Hobbie Personnel, Allentown, for 10 years until she retired in 2003.

Prior to that, she worked in the computer department at the former Merchant’s National Bank, Allentown, for 15 years.

She was a member of United Church of Christ Greenawalds, Allentown.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Mitchell G. of Allentown and his companion, Trish Burkhardt of Orefield; and a stepdaughter, Denise Geist of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
