Northwestern Middle School students recently hosted an Academic Challenge Eighth competition.
Eighth-graders from Northwestern, Northern Lehigh, Tamaqua, Jim Thorpe, Lehighton, Palmerton, Panther Valley and Catasauqua school districts competed.
This year’s winner was Palmerton with runner-up Jim Thorpe.
