Moore Township: Youth group will host Mother’s Day dinner May 7

The youth group of Covenant United Methodist Church, 2715 Mountain View Drive, Bath, will be hosting a Mother’s Day dinner 4:30 p.m. May 7. The menu will include ham, mashed potatoes, green beans and a side salad, along with assorted desserts.

There is a cost.

Point Phillips Rod & Gun Club, 1035 Smith Gap Road, Bath, is having an all-you-can-eat breakfast 8-11:30 p.m. May 8.

Mountain View Wesleyan Church, 1001 Deemers Road, Bath, is hosting a prison ministry volunteer training May 15. The beginner session starts 2 p.m., and advanced training begins 4 p.m. Chaplain Christopher Santos, from Northampton County Prison, will be the instructor.

Moore Township Athletic Association will hold fall sports sign-ups for soccer, football, baseball, softball and cheerleading 6-8 p.m. May 16, 19, 23 and 24 and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. May 21 and June 4.

All sign-ups will be held in the Borek Football Field team room.

Moore Township is participating in the Northampton County hazardous household waste recycling event taking place 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. May 21 at Northampton Community College’s main campus in Bethlehem Township.

Proof of residency is required. No electronics will be accepted.
