Richard C. Breisch, 87, of Macungie, died peacefully April 15, 2016. He was the beloved companion of Betty Hesan for 17 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Roy E. Breisch and Grace (Troxell-Breisch) Falk.

He graduated from Allentown High School in 1946 and served in the United States Navy from 1946 to 1948 with his primary duty station being Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

He worked well into his 80s in a variety of different fields and companies, including Coca Cola, Martin Zippel Toy Company and Paragon Transit.

He is survived by his companion; son, David and his wife Debra; daughter, Nancy and her husband Frank Brown; sister, Peggy and her husband Mike Dunbar; two grandchildren, Michael Breisch and Gourdin Sirles; two great-grandchildren, Grayson and Evangeline Sirles. He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce (Butterweck) Breisch.

No public service is scheduled. The family will receive friends for a celebration of life between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. April 20 at the home of Richard and Betty in Macungie.
