Myrtle P. Ackerman, 97, died April 13, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Roy H. Ackerman.

Born in Whitehall, she was a daughter of the late Raymond H. and Edna (Fahringer) Yohn.

She was an Amway Inc. distributor for 44 years until she retired in 2008.

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Howertown, where she was a member of the senior choir and the fellowship class.

She is survived by a son, Richard Ackerman and his wife Judith of Northampton; a daughter, Patricia M. Brennon and her companion Thomas Sands of Bethlehem; five grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
