Michael E. Kubinsky Jr., 74, of Catasauqua, died April 4, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Kathryn E. (Hicks) Kubinsky for 51 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Michael E. Sr. and Rose (Stupak) Kubinsky.

He was in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He worked for 20 years for the U.S. Postal Service, Allentown, until he retired as a clerk and a timekeeper. Prior to that, he worked for the former Phoenix Clothes for 20 years before they closed.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Church, Allentown.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Michael III, Joseph and David and his wife Linda; a daughter, Kristine and her husband David Labert; two sisters, Rose Ann and her husband Richard Stoudt and Nancy and her husband James Altenbach; seven grandchildren, Hannah, Adam, Joel, Bryn, Cameron, Nicholas and Andrew; a great-granddaughter, Lilianna; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Edward.
