Fern M. Schafer, 87, of Allentown, died April 12, 2016. She was the devoted wife of the late Ralph “Peppy” Schafer and the daughter of the late Hilda (Strauss) and Herbert Meyer.

She was a 1946 graduate of William Allen High School and worked for the Allentown Credit Bureau.

She was a member of Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, Emmaus. Her faith in the Lord was of the utmost importance to her and was reflected in the life that she lived.

Her greatest joy was her family and she spent her entire life enjoying her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She had a great sense of humor and loved to have fun.

She is survived by a daughter, Lynn and partner, Christopher Bujak, of Kempton; sons, Ronnie, of Fountain Hill, Allen and his wife, Michelle, of Mertztown; grandchildren, Tiffany Kay, Kristian and Ashley, Nicholas Bonanni; great-grandchildren, Alexander and Noah; in-laws, Janet and Neil Reinhardt, Janet and John Schafer, Carol Leaser, Connie and Robert Schafer, Raymond Schafer, Dolores Meyer; many nieces and nephews; dear cat, Lady Lydia.
