Ruth Ann Kies, 72, of Catasauqua, died April 1, 2016, in Reading Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert P. Kies.

Born in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Pearl E. (Williams) VanHorn.

She is survived by three sons, Thomas Morrell, Michael and his wife Sarah Morrell and David and his wife Brenda Morrell; a sister, Sheryl and her husband John Cesanek; six grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
