Heinz W. Wendland, 85, of Whitehall, died April 2, 2016. He was the husband of Theresa (Haffner) Wendland for 62 years.
Born in Germany, he was a son of the late Wilhelm and Charlotte (Koslowski) Wendland.
He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a supervisor at Mack Trucks, Allentown, from which he retired after 25 years of service.
He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus, Allentown.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Michael and his wife Theresa, Thomas and his wife Ange, and Timothy; two daughters, Theresa and her husband Michael Eddinger and Christine and her husband Eric Snyder; 10 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Stephanie, Michael, Andrew, James, Megan, Jillian, Thomas, Robert and Samantha; and a great-grandson, Noah.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Erwin and Walter; and a sister, Kate, all of Germany.
Arrangements were made by Brubaker Funeral Home Inc., Catasauqua.
