Esperanza A. Garcia, 84, of Allentown, died March 31, 2016. She was the wife of the late Roberto J. Garcia for 49 years.

Born in Ecuador, she was a daughter of Meliquiades and Cristina (Lozano) Salazar.

She is survived by two sons, Agustin M. and his wife Kathleen of Whitehall and Robert M. of Dix Hills, N.Y.; a daughter, Celia C. and her husband Reiner Stenske of Allentown; four grandchildren, Daniel, Gregory, Sarah and Mark; and three great-grandsons.

She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Cristina Garcia; and a brother, Enrique Salazar.

A viewing will take place from 10 to 10:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. April 8, both at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown.
