Paul Ruth, 78, of Macungie, died March 26, 2016. He was the husband of Delores (Shankweiler) Ruth. They were married 56 years. He was the son of Clarence and Margaret (Miller) Ruth.

He was a welder for Air Products and Intermagnetic Generation Corp.

He is survived by his wife; son, Michael P. and his wife Bonnie, of Topton; daughters, Kathie L. and her husband Brian McBride, of Macungie, Cindy and her husband John Ruchinski, of Lost Creek; grandchildren, Alex, Benjamin and Christine Ruth, Scott and Randy Rohrbach, Kyria, Karriann, Jacob and Katrina Ruchinski; great-granddaughter, Abbigail Diferdinando; sister and two brothers, all of Emmaus. He was predeceased by a son, Alan L., three sisters and four brothers.

Contributions may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society.

Services will be held 11 a.m. April 2 at Zions Lutheran Church, Zionsville. A calling hour will be 10 to 11 a.m. Arrangements were made by the David J. Boyko Funeral Home, Macungie.
