Eleanor M. Dickinson died March 20, 2016. She was the wife of the late David L. Dickinson for 49 years.
Born in Norristown, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Gear and Helen (Smith) Gear.
She was a 1953 graduate of West Catholic High School, Philadelphia, where she played French horn in the school orchestra.
She worked at Bell Telephone.
She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church for more than 50 years.
She is survived by four sons, Joseph and his wife Laura, Robert, Phillip and Patrick and his wife Susan; five grandchildren, Joseph Ryan, Kathryn, Zachary, Julia and Lacey; nieces; and nephews.
There will be a visitation time from 9 to 9:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. March 31, all at the church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall, 18052.
