To the Editor:

The Muslim Association of the Lehigh Valley, Whitehall, is greatly saddened by the horrific events that have occurred today (March 22, 2016) in Brussels.

The mass scale loss of innocent lives is devastating and should not be taken as representative for any faith-based tradition.

We stand in solidarity with the citizens of Brussels over this tragic and senseless act of violence.

Our prayers are with the families of the victims, the authorities and all the people of Brussels.
